VAT CEO Urs Gantner and Diego Züger, CEO Commercial at Swiss-Ski, are visibly pleased to announce their partnership for the next three seasons. VAT will be an Official Supplier to Swiss-Ski and to junior biathlon world champion Amy Baserga from the 2024/25 season onwards.
“With this collaboration, we are making a special statement. At VAT, we work with passion and the highest precision on high-end vacuum solutions every day. Such qualities also lead to success at the world-class level in biathlon,” comments Urs Gantner on the commitment of his company in the Rhine Valley, adding: “The idea for this arose when we compared our values with those in top-class sport. I am thrilled that our logo will soon be visible at exclusive sports events. We are particularly looking forward to the home Biathlon World Championships in Lenzerheide at the beginning of 2025.”
VAT’s commitment is expressed through extensive logo presence. The VAT logo will be seen on the rifles of Swiss biathletes from the C-squad to the national team at official Swiss-Ski and IBU competitions, as well as at all official Swiss-Ski training sessions. It will also adorn the headgear and rifle bag of three-time junior biathlon world champion Amy Baserga, who is being supported by VAT in her fourth World Cup season with an individual sponsorship. With her ambition and disciplined race preparation, the exceptionally talented young athlete demonstrates her drive for top performance.
Diego Züger is pleased about the new partnership: “We are very happy about the cooperation with VAT. The corporate culture and values at VAT – passion, precision, purity – also reflect the spirit of biathlon and Swiss-Ski in general in a wonderful way. We are convinced that together we will experience unforgettable snow sports moments full of enthusiasm and team spirit. We are proud to welcome VAT to the Swiss-Ski family.”
The collaboration with Swiss-Ski underlines VAT’s commitment to supporting both professional and amateur sports and promoting Swiss biathlon.
